英文摘要 | The use of spontaneous species from the northeastern semi-arid region can be a viable alternative in the practice of fertilizing tuberous vegetables. Therefore, the objective of this work was to evaluate the maximum physical and economic efficiencies of the agroeconomic characteristics of sugar beet in monoculture, depending on different amounts of silk flower ( C. procera ) biomass in two crops. The experimental design used was randomized blocks with five treatments and five replications. The treatments consisted of the amounts of silk flower biomass: 16, 29, 42, 55 and 68 t ha (-1) on a dry basis, incorporated into the soil. In each block of experiments, two additional treatments were added, one without fertilization (control treatment) and the other with mineral fertilization, for comparison purposes with the treatment with maximum physical or economic efficiency. The beet cultivar planted was Early Wonder. The fertilization of beet to obtain the maximum optimized productive efficiency (36.14 t ha (-1) ) was possible with the incorporation of 61.29 t ha (-1) of dry biomass of C. procera into the soil . The maximum optimized agroeconomic efficiency (based on the net income of 68,740.15 R$ ha (-1) ) from beet cultivation was obtained with the amount of 58.68 t ha (-1) of C. procera dry biomass added to the soil. The rate of return obtained was R$2.91 for each real invested and the profit margin was 74.93%. |
