英文摘要 | Prevention of soil salinization is key to agriculture in arid and semiarid regions. The first task in managing soil salinity is to understand its spatiotemporal characteristics, causal factors and influences, both over large regions and within individual fields. In the past 20 years, large-scale salinization control and water-saving irrigation technique have been widely carried out in arid regions of Northwest China, resulting in significant change in soil and water environment in irrigated areas. In the Yanqi Basin, the variation of salinization is mainly secondary salinization area affected by human interference. At present, the situated on the interactions among salinization area variations, anthropogenic interference have not been thoroughly investigated. In this study, we analyzed salinization area variations in the Yanqi Basin using Landsat-TM/ETM image data from 1990 to 2018. Within the study period, the salinization in the area have undergone with four stages: shrinkage in 1990-2000, expansion in 2000-2005, significantly decrease in 2005-2010, tend to be stable in 2010-2018. The value of NDVI and the Electrical Conductivity (EC 1:5) of Soil were used to an indirectly or directly reflect the degree of soil salinization in an area. The land use transfer matrix was used to obtain the changes in land use types; Population growth and Agricultural expansion and increasing water consumption are the main factors associated with decreased salinization area. Our research is anticipated to promote sustainable agricultural development in Xinjiang and other oasis agricultural ecosystems around the world. |
