英文摘要	This study was carried out during 2018 and 2019 seasons, to estimate and determine the most important loss types of fruits at harvesting time of dry (Tamr El-Wady cv.) and semi dray (Sewi cv.) date palm trees grown in five production districts; El-Gededa, El-Moshya, El-Qasr, Mout and ElSheikh Waly at East Delta (New Valley and ElDakhla Oasis), Egypt. Results indicated that Mout district considered the best region have the highest percentage of sound fruits (79.52 and 81.51 %) for Sewi cv., during both seasons. Moreover El-Qasr region loss of the largest cropping land and irrigation water for the same cultivar. Regarding Tamr El-Wady cv., the data showed that El-Sheikh Waly region recorded the highest percentage (39.34 and 39.35 %) of defected fruits. Furthermore the largest loss of cropping land and irrigation water were El-Moshya region during two seasons.
