英文摘要Obvious increased microwave brightness temperature has been observed around the epicenters before strong earthquakes. It can be looked as a potential signal for theinial anomalies related to earthquake activities. However, passive microwave observation can be affected by many environmental factors, such as soil moisture, vegetation cover, surface properties (surface temperature, soils and surface texture) and atmospheric parameters (water vapor, air temperature, etc.) Four different types of land cover regions - desert, vegetation, ocean and glacier have been considered in the present paper to study the sensitivity of different environmental parameters on passive microwave brightness temperature. Our results show that the main factors affecting the MWBT depend on the surface covers. The characteristics of the underlying surface over the seismogenic region should be considered in the further research of seismic microwave anomalous signals detection.
