英文摘要 | Progress in the design of stand alone, autonomous solar distillation equipment for the desalination of brackish water in remote arid areas, of the Sahara desert for example, has been slow with no real technical breakthroughs or game changing innovations. Although numerous models have been reported in the literature, their daily output was in the standard, marginal range that is way below 20 liters per square meter. This paper presents a different design of stand alone, autonomous solar distillation machine with a daily production in the range of 30 liters per square meter. |
