英文摘要According to J.M.G. Le Clezio, the solution to economic, political, and ecological crises can be found in interculturality, the interactions between cultures, but also the relationship between human beings and the natural world. In this article, we propose that in order to achieve peace through interculturality, all human beings must first have a developed ecological identity, defined as a deep relationship to the natural world. Le Clezio's novel Desert (Paris: Gallimard, 1980) presents an ecological and cultural context where several children demonstrate a deep appreciation for the biotic world.
