英文简介PROJECT NARRATIVE Barriers to the accessibility, availability, and acceptability of children?s evidence-based treatments are particularly problematic for youth with low-base rate and/or difficult-to-treat conditions, such as selective mutism. Several modern trends in intervention science?e.g., intensive treatments, telehealth strategies, treatment sequencing, post-acute transition planning strategies?offer promise for overcoming traditional barriers to care and for extending treatment generalizability by delivering care in more ecologically valid/naturalistic settings. The project at the center of this training grant will be the first to examine an innovative post-acute continuation/transition planning treatment strategy that leverages intensive treatment followed by online, videoconferencing-based ?booster? sessions, in order to better guide treatment selection and inform the development of more potent, efficient, generalizable, and personalized interventions.
