英文简介 | Project Narrative: The proposed research aims to identify a metagenome-encoded biosynthetic gene cluster from symbionts of the Antarctic ascidian, Synoicum adareanum, that is responsible for biosynthesis a potent new class of anti-melanoma targeted natural products, Palmerolides. Palmerolides have high specificity to melanoma cells and offer a new mechanism of action to fight metastatic melanoma. |
