| 英文简介 | Tung tree, Vernicia fordii, is a native oil-bearing woody plant of China. Oil extracted from the fruit is an important industrial and biodiesel feedstock. Breeding the cultivar with high oil yield is cruel to meet the industrial applications and energy demand for tung oil. This study uses tung tree germplasm widely collected from China as the association population, and collects four important economic traits of the population, seed number per fruit, single kernel weight, oil extraction rate, eleostearic acid content. SNP markers are developed and used to genotype this population. The SNP markers showing significant association with the target traits are determined by association mapping. This study is to provide effective molecular markers and theoretical foundation for genetic improvement of tung tree. |
