英文简介 | The Danjiangkou reservoir is source area of the middle route project of South – North water transfer. Coordinated development of soil erosion and food supply of sloping land in Danjiangkou reservoir is an urgent problem need to be solved presently. This project intend to address this issue by improving soil aggregate structure, water binding capacity, nutrient adsorption and plant nutrient utilization of slope land with use of biochar soil amendments. Runoff plot trials and laboratory simulation experiments will be carried out in the Danjiangkou reservoir area to study the regulate effects and mechanisms of biochar on soil erosion, nutrient loss and crop yields. The main research contents include: ① effects of biochar on runoff, soil loss, water soluble nitrogen and phosphorus contents of runoff, particulate nitrogen and phosphorus contents of runoff, soil aggregate features and yields; ② soil physical structure mechanisms, soil water movement mechanisms, transport mechanisms of nitrogen and phosphorus nutrient in soil-plant system with biochar to control nitrogen, phosphorus, soil and water loss on sloping land; ③ regulatory function of biochar in the whole processes of rainfall infiltration, runoff, soil loss, and nitrogen and phosphorus nutrient losses. This project aims to reveal the regulation mechanism of biochar on nitrogen, phosphorus, soil and water loss, and yields of sloping land. The results will provide the scientific basis and effective technical support for applying biochar to control runoff, the utilization of agricultural waste, and biochar application in agriculture. |
