英文简介Numerous plain reservoirs have been built in the arid regions of China. They have important implications for the local agricultural production and environmental management. However, ecological environment of the peripheral areas around a reservoir and even the entire watershed were severely affected. In order to explain the efficacy of plain reservoir scientifically, hydrological response of the plain reservoirs in the middle of Heihe River Basin will be studied in this project with a coupled surface water and groundwater model (SWATMOD) based on the hydro-meteorological, remote sensing and geology information. Temporal and spatial influence of the plain reservoirs on the hydrological cycle will be analyzed firstly. Thereafter, evaporation, infiltration and storage change of the plain reservoirs will be explored and depicted with quantitative methods. Then impacts of the plain reservoirs will be integrated into the SWATMOD. Finally, influence of the plain reservoirs will be studied based on the improved SWATMOD model, and impacts of the plain reservoir on water resource will be evaluated and predict based on scenario methods from the view of hydrological cycle mechanism. This study can offer important information to scientific planning, management, development and utilization of water resources with the plain reservoirs.
