英文简介 | Although MODIS snow cover products have high accuracy in the flat area under the clear sky conditions, the existing MODIS snow cover products do not have a high enough accuracy in the mountainous areas of Northwest China; in addition, there are a large amount of pixels will missing snow information due to the impacts of cloud cover, which makes the MODIS snow area products space-time discontinuous and seriously affects the accuracy of MODIS snow cover products. We take Northern Xinjiang as the study area, the project is aimed at the mountainous MODIS snow cover fraction (SCF) retrieval methods with remote sensing technique based on intelligent optimization algorithms, includes: 1) for pixels have not been polluted by cloud cover, our task is to develop an intelligent optimization model for improving mapping precision of mountainous SCF, an artificial neural network (ANN) is trained to learn the complex nonlinear relationship between SCF and multiple factors; 2) for cloud covered pixels, our task is to fill the cloud pixels with simultaneously consideration of temporal and spatial information, a multi-objective evolutionary algorithm method is used to obtain the continuous spatio-temporal MODIS SCF data set; 3) reconstructing MODIS SCF products of Northern Xinjiang between 2000 and 2018, then evaluating the accuracy of this reconstruction products, and further analyzing the spatial and temporal distribution and variation characteristics of snow cover in the Northern Xinjiang. This project will provide the basic data support to analysis the utilization and management of water resources caused by snow cover changes, and the response of snow under the condition of climate change; the research production has important academic and applied values. |
