英文简介Populus euphratica Oliv., is the keystone species in the riparian forest ecosystem of the inland river basins of arid areas, has an important function of fixing sand and maintaining the overall ecosystem of its habitat. P. euphratica has a strong potential for clonal reproduction and can produce a large number of root suckers, which result in the expansion of P.euphratica populations in some areas. The aim of this study was to systematically analysis characteristic of P. euphratica root sucker from the physiological levels, and explore the intrinsic adjustment mechanism of asexual reproduction. We look forward to provide some scientific theories for the ecological restoration of inland river basin. Study the characteristic endogenous hormone and carbohydrate content using GC and Anthrone colorimetry methods to explore physiology characteristic during sucker root process. Study the seasonal fluctuation of hormones and carbohydrate content of all organs in different age P. euphratica clones and water sources with stable isotope techniques to identify the characteristic of water, hormones and carbohydrate transmission and utilize. From those to explore the the relationship between hormones and carbohydrates and prouting ability of P. euphratica. The effects of endogenous hormones on the root sucker of P.euphratica were studied under control condition to illuminate the role of endogenous hormones of in P. euphratica root sucker. This research could provide a scientific reference for the ecological restoration of desert riparian forest vegetation, enriches ecological hydrology research content in arid area.
