英文简介This research aims to analyze vegetation degradation pattern and distinguish its climate and human impacts in temperate typical steppe of Xinlingol League in Inner Mongolia. All the research is based on long-term NDVI time-series, vegetation type map and auxiliary data like meteorological information. First, we reconstruct NDVI time series since 1982 based on geostatistical modeling and unary linear regression model using AVHRR GIMMIS and MODIS NDVI, so as to keep their temporal, spatial resolution and data quality consistent. Build a new regional vegetation degradation diagnosis model based on multi-resolution analysis of wavelet transform and analyze its temporal and spatial patterns. Introduce temperature and water stress factors to construct a new evaluation index to characterize the impact of multi-climatic factors on vegetation degradation. And then, we use indirect quantitative method to propose a distinguish model to separate the influence of human activities on vegetation degradation, integrating meteorological stress impacts assessment and wavelet transform. And finally achieve the goal of quantitatively distinguish the influence region and strength. The outcomes of this research could provide a quantitative understand of vegetation degradation and its driving forces under global climate change situation. It can to some extent, reveal regional ecosystem response characteristics and can provide theoretical supports for regional ecological environmental quality assessment, promoting rational human activities on grassland and fight against desertification.
