英文简介In the semi-arid area, the carbon deposition or release associated with the impact of karst processes on the source and sink of atmospheric CO2 is an unresolved important issue within karstification and carbon cycle. the cause and influence mechanism for the presence of a small amount of irregular deposition on limestone tablet after corrosion test is not clear. This project, we choose typical karst watershed, in the semi-arid area, as our study area, and soil system within karst processes occur as research core. Through field dissolution experiments, scanning electron-microscopy, elemental chemical analysis, isotope tracing method, and testing analysis the content of soil organic carbon and soil inorganic carbon, and field measuring concentration of soil CO2 and soil moisture content, and observing the occurrence characteristics and variation of carbonate rock erosion and deposition during the wet season and dry season, we will analyze the deposit's material morphology, elemental composition and possible sources, and clarify the season dynamic characteristics and key affecting factors of karstification, and reveal the mechanism that the soil system affect the dissolution and deposition in karst processes, and investigate the suitability about the limestone tablet method used to estimate karst geological carbon sequestration in the semiarid area. The results will promote the research of karst carbon sinks in the northern arid karst area and provide scientific reference for the accurate calculation of karst carbon sink and the improvement of the global carbon cycle model.
