英文简介Evapotranspiration (ET) consists of two components, soil water evaporation (E) and vegetation transpiration (T). It's crucial to partition quantificationally ET into E and T for accurately predicting the climatic response of agroecosystem water cycle. Loess Plateau is an important distribution area of dry farming in China, and sensitive response to climatic change. In this study, ET components (E and T) of spring wheat agroecosystem in Loess Plateau were investigated. Along the averaged annual precipitation gradient, three representative agroecosystems in Loess Plateau, Qingyang of Gansu province (semi-humid regions), Pingliang (transition zone between semi-humid and semi-arid regions), and Dingxi (semi-arid regions), will be selected for experimentation and observation. Stable isotope technique will be used to determine the ratio of ET components to ET; and eddy covariance technique will be used to determine the total ET, then partitioning ET into E and T. Shuttleworth-Wallace model (two-source model ) will be used to extend the ET partition period into the entire growing season. Through compare between three representative agroecosystems, the annual, seasonal and spatial variability characteristics of the ET components in Loess Plateau agroecosystems will be investigated. Meanwhile, the environmental factors (biological and moisture factors) in the agroecosystem will be also observed. We are attempt to explore the mechanism of environmental factors, such as dew, on the ET components in Loess Plateau agroecosystems.
