英文简介 | With the advent of the energy crisis,no area of research in both science and technology is more hotly pursued than renewable enegy in recent years.The Jerusalem artichoke (Helianthus tuberosus), which is also called the sunchoke, shows good tolerance to drought, salinity and other adverse conditions, as well as resistance to pests and diseases,thus could be a promising bioenegy plant in China.Since 1999, the variety of NAU Jerusalem artichoke No. 1 with good traits has been obtained through self-nurturing by our research team, meanwhile the varieties of M1 and M2 through introduction from Russia.This project is focused on not only understanding the biological characteristics of tuber development, but also demonstrating internal and external hormones changes, inulin transport and transformation, and tuber development based on ecological mechanisms within plant system under Saline habitat.The project emphasis the theoretical and practical research, aiming at optimizing the cultivation theory of Jerusalem artichoke, increasing the tuber yield potential, and reducing the cost of ethanol production , as well as providing energy security and rational utilization of coastal land. |
