英文简介 | Desertification is one of the most serious eco-environmental problems around Qinghai Lake. It is Torishima at northwest, Sand Island at northeast, Ketu and Xiabatai at east of Qinghai Lake that desertification lands are distributed. There are barchan, Megadunes and semi-mobile dunes in the region. The height of megadunes distributed in the east and northeast of Qinghai Lake are betwwen 80 and 160 meters. The narrow ridge lines and minifying crests are the most significant characters for megadunes. It has a great effect on road and railway at the east of Qinghai Lake, meanwhile, the benefits of ecology, economy, transportation and tourism will be influnced. According to earth system science and basic principles of environmental evolution, based on field survey, located observations of wind and sediment discharge, taking profile samples and tests of samples indoor, we discuss formation and mobility mechanism of megadunes. Combining 3S techonology of Quick Bird and other clear satellite images with located observation and the wind tunnel simulate experiment, we research on the mobility characteristics and dynamic change of megadunes. By studying on nature and human influence on distribution, driving characteristics, dynamic change and driving mechanism, we hope providing a scientific support for protection and rational utilization for megadunes in the east shore of Qinghai Lake. |
