英文简介It is important to investigate the pollution characteristics of antibiotics in soils from vegetable fields for assessing the local ecological threat and the safety of agricultural products posed by the released antibiotics. The unique geological characteristics and climate conditions in arid-climate regions indicate the particular occurrence and distribution characteristics of antibiotics, compared with other regions in China (such as the littoral province). However, few research has been fucused on the antibiotics contamination of soils in arid-climate reigons. The present research intends to utilize the on-site sampling and the laboratory analysis approach: (i) to assess the tetracyclines antibiotic contamination levels in soil from vegetable field in arid-climate reigons, acquiring the relevant data on the distribution of stereo-type tetracyclines antibiotics (e.g., tetracycline,aureomycin and terramycin) in soil profile; (ii) to describe the translocation, degradation, and fate of selected tetracyclines antibiotics in soils of arid-climate reigons; (iii) to evaluate the impact by nature condition (such as intensity of illumination), soil physical and chemical properties (such as temperature, liquid water content, pH value and organic carbon content), and microbal diversity on the selected tetracyclines antibiotics environmental behavior for screening the crucial impact factor; and (iv) to explore the degradative efficiency on antibiotics contaminated soils through microbial populations and activities in plant-root zones utilizing some selected tetracyclines as model antibiotics. By combining geography, chemistry, and biology, the information on occurrence. distribution, translocation and degradation of tetracyclines antibiotics in vegatable soils will be used for understanding the environmental behavior and assessing the health and ecological risk of antibiotics in arid-climate regions.
