中文摘要	本文以新疆为研究区,结合人口密度和1993-2013年的夜间光数据,开展对研究区近20年乡村聚落扩展时空变化特征。采用空间增长率指数、扩展强度和平均最近邻分析方法,分析新疆乡村聚落空间分布的演变。结果表明: ①新疆南部地区乡村聚落空间演变剧烈,北部和东部地区乡村聚落空间演变较为缓和;②从增长率和扩展强度来看,新疆北部和南部地区乡村聚落平均扩张强度都呈增大趋势,但东部地区乡村聚落扩张强度先增长后减少的趋势;③由于自然环境和社会经济发展的不同,新疆南部地区的乡村聚落在空间上呈松散分布,而北部和东部地区呈较紧密分布状况。新疆乡村聚落沿着自然资源丰富的绿洲上以集聚分布,而且一直保持递增扩张。
英文摘要	This paper took Xinjiang as a study area,combining the population density and night-time light data from 1993to 2013to develop the spatiotemporal characteristics of rural settlement expansion in the study area in the past 20years.The spatial growth index,expansion intensity and average nearest neighbor analysis were used to analyze the evolution of the spatial distribution of rural settlements in Xinjiang.The results showed that:①The rural settlement space in southern Xinjiang had evolved violently,while the rural settlement space in the northern and eastern regions had evolved more slowly.②From the perspective of growth rate and expansion intensity,the average expansion intensity of rural settlements in northern and southern Xinjiang showed an increasing trend,but the expansion intensity of rural settlements in the eastern region increased first and then decreased.③Due to the differences in natural environment and socio-economic development,rural settlements in the southern region of Xinjiang were loosely distributed in space,while the northern and eastern regions were more closely distributed.Xinjiang rural settlements were clustered along the oasis with abundant natural resources,and they had been expanding gradually.
