英文摘要 | Almond seedling is one of the important stone fruit trees. Rootstocks were used to be planted under rainfall area and in semi-desert area conditions. The fertilizers and plant growth regulators applied to activate the growth of seedlings to a suitable size for budding and grafting. The experiment was performed to investigate the effect of Turofort compound fertilizer and Floratone plant growth regulator on the almond seedling vegetative growth characteristics. Turofort fertilizer was added to the soil with four doses (0, 0.4, 0.8 and 1.2 g.plant(-1)) and Floratone plant growth regulator was sprayed on the canopy with three concentrations (0, 250 and 500 mg.L-1). The doses of fertilizer affected the studied vegetative growth parameters positively; especially the two higher doses of fertilizer (0.8 and 1.2 g.plant(-1)), which increased stem height and diameter, branches count, branch length, total leaf area and chlorophyll contents of leaves. First concentration of Floratone growth regulator (250 mg. L-1), increased stem diameter and leaf area significantly on 2017 and 2018 seasons, while second concentration (500 mg. L-1), increased branches count, leaves number, total leaf area and leaf chlorophyll contents. The stem diameter is a more important property to determine the best treatment in this case. The interaction treatment between 1.2 g. plant(-1) Turofort and foliar spraying with 250.00 mg.L-1. Floratone is recommended to apply on almond seedlings to get rootstocks for budding or grafting. |
