英文摘要	This paper studies the management (to retain water and soil) of assisted or 'improved' minted lands, in Sierra de la Pila foothills, thanks to the contribution of additional water to the fallen precipitation. In these lands, agriculnue practised is adapted to dry climate and improved by water collection or harvest. Through land ordering (terraces) and hydraulic works (dams and sluice networks) of stomiwater irrigation, agricultural production is ensured. In the 60s and 70s of the 20th century they were abandoned by a change in the agricultural production mode. It is convenient to catalog this hydraulic heritage of dams, sluices, terraces, water passages, etc. This has been carried out in more than 10,000 hectares of attended rainfed lands in this area, by means of field work. The cataloguing of its hydraulic heritage is the first step towards the recovery of those water control practices that facilitate oasification in the face of desertification.
