英文摘要 | The accomplished aim was to implement a methodology which allowed verification of microclimatic characteristics' impact on variations in density of use (frequency of use) and the length of time users stayed in urban public spaces. To do that, a square in Biskra city was selected. To define this impact, we developed an approach based on cross-referencing climatic data with the results of questionnaires and with monitoring of user behaviour at the site (video recordings). These results analysis allowed us to identify the areas of public space which were occupied most often, and to verify the impact of two climatic seasons (winter and summer) on the variation in occupancy density of the different areas of the public space studied and the length of time users stayed there. |
