英文摘要	The level of agricultural and infrastructural development of different districts of Rajasthan was obtained with the help of a composite index based on twenty-seven and eight developmental indicators, respectively. The district-wise data from the year 1993-94 to 2012-13 was collected in respect of selected indicators for 32 districts of the State. The results revealed that Dungarpur district ranked first in agricultural development while desert Jaisalmer district ranked last. Karauli district was highest infrastructural developed while Banswara district observed to be least developed. Wide disparities were observed in the level of development among different districts. Agricultural development was found to be negatively associated with the level of development in the agricultural sector. All districts were classified into five stages of the level of development and none of the districts was under a very highly developed category. Most of the districts of the western desert region were under less agricultural developed category while eastern plains were found developed to the highly developed category. It revealed that eastern plains of Rajasthan were more agricultural developed as compared to the western desert region on the basis of selected indicators during 1993-94 to 2012-13.
