| 英文摘要 | The present work aimed to map the geomorphological features present in the municipality of Sao Domingos, located in the semi - arid region of Bahia, in order to contribute to the studies of relief cartography in this environment. The methodology of geomorphological mapping was based on the proposal of Tricart (1965) and Verstappen and Zuidam (1975), making use of the Technical Manual of Geomorphology (IBGE, 2009) and the guidelines of Ross (1995). the topographic modeling, the delimitation of Geomorphological Units and, at the end, the generation of the Map of Geomorphological Features. As a result, the spatialization of these features such as Residual Hills, Morrotes, Flat Bottom Valley, Lombada and Pedimento portrays the variability of geomorphological features existing in small geographic scale as well as in the performance of different morphodynamic processes. The mapping of geomorphological features made in the municipality of Sao Domingos highlights the need for more detailed studies in the semi - arid region as a way of reconstituting local modeling and its active morphogenetic processes. As a final product, the mapping of features aims, together with environmental planning projects, the orientation of soil management techniques that will support the conservation of geomorphological systems in the area and the morphodynamic balance in the current environmental system. |
