英文摘要Schistosomiasis is a neglected tropical disease belonging to the group of helminth infections, caused by the parasite of the genus Schistosoma, which has affected people all over the world. In Brazil, one hundred million cases have been registered in the last thirty-seven years. The objectives of this dissertation were to detect a pre-diagnostic zone for schistosomiasis in the relation between the body mass index and the abdominal circumference of individuals in suspicion and to propose a tool and a collaborative application that will also have an educational use. The methodological procedures followed six steps: i) the feeding of the database; ii) statistical modeling; iii) the systematization of the diagnostic decision tree by the variables; iv) the construction of an anthropometric rule and a collaborative application; v) the application of built tools; and, vi) the qualitative-quantitative analysis. The constructed tools participated in an efficient way for the pre-diagnosis of schistosomiasis, reducing the passage of patients from the acute phase to the chronic and post-chronic phases, contributing to the patient in the sense of quality and time of treatment, and the reduction of expenses by the public health system. The same was reported for teaching and learning activities, the use of the tools by teachers and health agents in their work environments was able to present in a playful way the application of the decision tree for the pre-diagnosis of the disease in question, to result in the appropriation of content and praxis by the learner.
