英文摘要	This paper goal is to analyze the relation between silvicultural activities and biological pollution, in order to elucidate the question concerning use of invasive species in reforestation activities and their environmental damage. It employs a critic methodological approach, supplemented by comparative law studies method, based on qualitative research and a multidisciplinary approach, verging towards the environmental law field. As results, the authors could develop a juridical configuration and a hypothetical delimitation of invasive species in Brazilian law. Also, promotion of the same delimitation for biological pollution phenomenon, as an environmental damage caused by introduction of the aforementioned organisms, could be formulated latterly. Therefore, it was possible to verify (considering the actual juridical model and the concrete interpretation of the norm) some possible hypothesis of prohibition and restriction to the introduction of invasive species in environmentally protected spaces, Conservation Unities and alternative soil use areas. Thus, foundations for a paradox between invasive species reforestation practices and its polluting nature were verified, considering that theoretically these practices should aim at environmental reparation or recuperation.
