英文摘要	The distribution of thirty-two rare, endangered, and regenerated species of terrestrial mammals included in the Red Data Book of the Russian Federation that exist within the arid and semiarid biomes in Russia has been assessed. A group of rare species, which are not provided with protection at the level of the nature reserves, has been recorded. The results of surveys may be used to measure regional biodiversity and to develop standards for the protection of rare mammal species at a raised level.
