| 英文摘要 | This is a study on communication in the rural community development process in Borborema (state of Paraiba), a semi-arid area of the Northeast of Brazil. The main objective is to understand how the Community communication processes become effective in the context of organizational and productive practices of the local family agriculture. The study is founded on concepts of the modernization, participatory development, and popular and community communication theories. It is based on literature review and desk research. New attitudes and practices regarding the land by means of agroecology and community organization initiatives are means to escape the condition of poverty. Communication is primarily of group and interpersonal basis, although there are other forms of communicative instruments. |
