英文摘要	The objective of this study was to make a diagnosis of the environmental perception of secondary school students in a State School of the semi - arid region of Pernambuco. A semi structured questionnaire containing fifty questions distributed in three dimensions was applied, D1 Solid Waste, D2 - Water Resources, and D3 - Environment and Sustainability in the School. Each question contained five alternatives, with '1' being the most negative and '5' being the most positive. Alternatives '3' and '4' obtained 46.36% of the answers, indicating a conflictive attitude on the part of the students, however, with a bias negative. The discourses showed a greater interest and deeper knowledge about the importance of the selective collection, the water economy and the importance of the arborization of the city.
