英文摘要	This paper intends to show that the evolution of the Brazilian electric macrosystem, due to the installation of wind farms, culminated in the removal of the control of the technical portion of production in these places. Therefore, we begin our discussion unveiling the current organization of the Brazilian electrical system, in order to show that it is configured as a technical macro-system. We continue by discussing the current composition of the Brazilian electrical matrix, revealing that it tends towards diversification and that wind energy is among the new sources that have been inserted in the Brazilian electrical macro-system. We return to the origin and expansion of this electric energy generation technique throughout the world until its arrival in Brazil. We also deal with the installation of wind farms in the Brazilian territory with the aim of showing that its implementation has been taking place in a concentrated way, in the Northeast and South regions, especially in the northeastern semi-arid region. Finally, we discuss the installation of wind farms in the Brazilian semi-arid, based on data collected in fieldwork and technical visits in the semi-arid regions of Bahia and Rio Grande do Norte, as well as in public and private institutions related to labor training, equipment operation and maintenance in the wind power sector. Lastly, we show how the new form of organization and operation of the Brazilian electric macro-system removes the control of the technical portion of the electric energy production from the places where the wind farms are installed.
