| 英文摘要 | Winds are one of the major climatic phenomena that has attracted the attention of Arab geographers and travelers in Maghreb pre-Saharan and Saharan regions during the Middle Ages. All the accounts agree that these winds often blew for several months of the year, with both positive and negative effects on the various economic activities. Among the positive effects are the relative moderation of heat in summer and the contribution to pollination of date palms in the spring. On the other hand, the negative effects include increasing dust levels in the air, uprooting trees and palm trees, drying plants, advancing desertification, moving sand dunes and changing Which often led to the loss of commercial caravans in the desert. |
