英文摘要	The contribution from marine, fluvial and aeolian lithodynamical mass flows to the formation of the Northern Sinai aggraded extra-arid plain is considered. The evolution of littoral zone topography is studied. It is shown that the plain was created by the Nile's alluvium in the process of its stable long-lasting transfer from the delta eastward by the longshore current of the Mediterranean. A special emphasis is focused on the role of anthropogenic impacts on the relief of the plain as well as on the influence of infrequently recurring disastrous fluvial flows that cause reconfigurations of topography.
