英文摘要	This paper describes and analyzes the glacially modified landforms in Patriot and Independence Hills, which rise on the surface of the West Antarctica ice sheet, and the processes acting on them associated to the dynamics of the ice sheet. Field investigations were conducted during Expedition Crystal Desert in the summer of 2008/2009. Two sets of landform were identified and are associated with changes in West Antarctica ice sheet: (a) rock glaciers and periglacial rock-ice features; (b) supraglacial moraines and blue-ice moraines. The dominant depositional features in Patriot and Independence Hills involve two processes: (1) activities of slopes that provide abundant supraglacial material, (2) basal and englacial debris that reach the surface of the ice when it is lowered by ablation processes. Prominent ice core morainic ridges, with kilometers long and tens of meters wide. Morainic ridges closest to the rock walls, especially in the Independence Hills, also suffer the influence of the slope activity, so remobilizing the original deposits. Morainic ridges are generated as sediment reaches the surface by ablation or by upward movements of the ice, with little post-depositional movement. The processes of sublimation of ice are common on the surface of the glaciers and moraines, producing an uneven surface. Solar radiation and wind action can also contribute to the ablation in some points of the moraine.
