英文摘要	This essay reflects on some implications of archaeology in the scope of South Frontier, in the Argentine Republic. Specially it pays attention to the material meaning of his old bastions in the social process that turned Desert in "Estancia" and the rural people in modern proletarians. The confused "ethno-geography" of the aboriginal enemy of the forts and forts, anchored in the tents, changing permanently places and taking the cattle towards Chile forms a part of a scene complex and not known deeply still. Everything ended when the ethnic differences became ideological up to coming to the total conflict, thesis Bechis that we adopt.
