英文摘要	In Algeria, steppe habitat is undergoing desertification, which has affected rangeland productivity and the ability of millions of people to earn their livelihoods from agropastoral activities. In this study, we implemented a rangeland restoration project and monitored the results. We characterised variation in the ecological features and productivity of the experimental rangelands, which allowed us to quantify their responses to restoration. As a result, we were able to comprehensively assess how these factors changed over the study's four-year duration.
