英文摘要 | Water scarcity along with the continuing decrease in its quantity and quality continues to be one of the major challenging threats on human survival in many parts of the world. Advanced technologies are required for testing the alternatives for solving water scarcity issues. Testing the alternatives should be carried out in several directions and taking into account several considerations: theoretical models allowing examining different options and physical-algorithms emanating in the field leading options. This work is based on screening the option of solving water shortage issues as faced in the Mediterranean Basin. Modelling of the alternative is based on the analytic hierarchal process as a general screening method. Selecting the preferable solution is based on the opinion of a group of experts and turning their ideas into a mathematical model that will be demonstrated here within. |
