中文摘要 | 明确柳枝稷(Panicum virgatum)根冠生长及根系形态特征与水肥供应关系,可为旱区柳枝稷草地的水肥管理提供依据。本研究采用裂区设计,通过盆栽试验,以水分水平[高水:80% FC(田间持水量field capacity)和低水:40% FC]为主区,施磷处理(0、0.05和0.1 g P_2O_5·kg~(-1)干土,以每千克干土施P_2O_5的量计算)为副区,生育期末测定各处理下柳枝稷根冠生物量及根系形态特征。结果表明,不论施磷与否,高水下柳枝稷根冠生物量、总根长、根表面积和根系平均直径均显著(P < 0.05)大于低水条件,而水分利用效率、比根长显著降低(P < 0.05)。高水下施磷显著提高了根冠生物量、总根长和根表面积,降低了柳枝稷根冠比。低水下,施磷可显著提高柳枝稷水分利用效率,施磷(0.1 g·kg~(-1))可显著提高总根长和根表面积、促进细根(0~0.5 mm)生长,表明低水条件下适当施磷有助于提高建植当柳枝稷根系吸收能力和对干旱的适应性。 |
英文摘要 | To clarify the relationshiops of water and phosphorus with root growth and morphology could provide the basis for water and fertilizer management during the grassland construction of switchgrass (Panicum virgatum) in dry region. A pot experiment was conducted using split-plot design, and the main plot was soil water regimes [high water: 80% FC (field capacity) and low water: 40% FC], while the subplot was phosphorus (P) treatments (0, 0.05 and 0.1 g P_2O_5 per kg dry soil). The shoot and root biomass production, and root morphology of switchgrass under different treatments were measured at the end of the growth period. Results showed that regardless of P application, switchgrass had significantly (P < 0.05) higher shoot and root biomass, total root length (TRL), root surface area (RSA) and root average diameter, but lower water use efficiency and specific root length under high soil water regime than under low soil water regime. Under high soil water regime, P application significantly increased shoot and root biomass production, and TRL and RSA. Under low soil water regime, P application significantly increased water use efficiency of switchgrass, and 0.1 g P_2O_5 per kg dry soil application significantly promoted TRL, RSA and root growth in 0~0.5 mm diameter. All these indicated that under low soil water conditions, rational P application could improve the root absorptive capacity and drought adaptability of switchgrass in the establishment year. |
