英文摘要 | The good design of the urban fabric to deal with the natural physical loads for achieving the physical urban comfort, it's enabled the cities of desert to live and develop in the desert climate. So the constructivist density of the urban fabric is considered one of the most important elements of the urban design, it's responsible of the height of the building where the shade and his alternation throughout the day, the shaded area where the convection, natural lighting are low, and are protected from wind. The methodology of the research was based on the comparative approach, where the field research tool represented in the questionnaire for the population of two urban fabric different in terms of the constructivism density, about their feeling towards the physical urban comfort. Where the questionnaire asked about the temperature of the air and the level of natural light and wind protection level in the free space in their neighborhood. Through the obtained results and use the comparison approach, we noticed the difference of the answers about the sense and satisfaction of the population towards the elements of natural physical loads in the two types of urban fabric, where were a better feeling for the population of the urban fabric a greatest in terms of constructivism density for the natural physical loads compared with the feeling of the population of the other fabric. This difference in results indicates the role of urban fabric for reducing natural physical loads within the free space- street-. where the urban fabric the more of the constructivism density is the more of the shade during the day, it's the best in terms of achieving the physical urban comfort, this is very important for desert cities. 2019 The Authors.
