Peanut is one of the most important oil crops in the world as well as an important source of human proteins and fats. Planted in arid and semi-arid regions, it is often subjected to stress from the environment in the growth process. In this study, Hainan peanut cultivar was treated respectively by salt stress of NaCl solutions at the concentration of 0.2%, 0.4%, 0.6% and 0.8%, and content changes in nutrients of seedlings were observed. The results showed that under 0.2% salt stress, it is beneficial for starch synthesis in leaves of peanut seedlings; under 0.8% salt stress, the content of cellulose and soluble sugar is the maximum; and soluble protein is maximum under 0.6% salt stress and minimum under 0.8% salt stress. With the stress concentration rising, the content of vitamin c first decreased slowly and then increased.
