Using an old industrial building placed in a middle of a major town is always a way to provide a "green space" for work and leave instead of a deserted area 2 km away from the city center. The paper presents an example of refurbishment of an industrial building complex placed in the center of Timisoara city (the 3rd largest town of Romania) and its' change into an office complex for IT purposes, created through transformation of a 20000 sqm precast reinforced concrete industrial hall complex into one of the most modern buildings of the city from the point of architecture, structure, energy consumption and environmental change of the city area.
