英文摘要 | Sustainable utilization of water resources are primary condition and important guarantee to economic and social sustainable development in arid and semi-arid region. On the basis of water resources carrying capacity of Haidong city in semi-arid region, this study is trying to propose the path and strategy of sustainable utilization of regional water resources. Our results showed that water resources carrying capacity in Haidong city was at the medium level; there might be some utilization potential for the regional water resources. Therefore, to increase the supply channels of water resources, to reduce the consumption of "blue water", "green water", "grey water" and "water footprint", to improve the utilization efficiency of water resources, and to decrease water pollution, will be used synthetically to improve water resources carrying capacity, which no doubt is the optimal path to realize the sustainable utilization of water resources. Secondly, there are regional differences in water resources carrying capacity within Haidong city (i.e. higher in the southern Xunhua county, lower in the northern Huzhu county, lowest in the central Ledu district). Hence, strengthening collaboration among county (district), and upgrading on the whole water resources carrying capacity of Haidong city are contributed to the sustainable utilization of water resources. Thirdly, we need think of water resources as one combined system, which usually is composed of several subsystems, including water, ecology, society, and economy etc. On the basis of it, building a multi-level water circulation system, to make water resources virtuous circle among production system, life system and ecological system, which is a significant strategy to realize the sustainable utilization of water resources in Haidong city. In addition, it is necessary to strengthen effective, optimized, emergency management of water resources, and try to implement the strategy of "virtual water", to build up security system in the sustainable utilization of water resources in Haidong city. |
