Through analyzing remote sensing materials of the Ejina oasis in different times, the composition and scale of the ecological system are determined, and meanwhile the characteristic and ecological function of different ecological system are analyzed in this paper. Based on that, the law and quantity of Ejina oasis' s natural ecological water requirement are put forward. Furthermore, the relationship between natural ecology and groundwater level, and the effects on natural ecology brought by the groundwater' s change, are analyzed further, and the conclusion that the key periods of natural ecological water requirement within the year are April and August is proposed in this paper. In short, the research results in this paper provide scientific basis for ecological water requirements of different ecological recovery targets and water resource' s reasonable allocation, and determining the scale of Huangzangsi temple reservoir in the upstream.
