Research on the Dynamic Change Characteristics of Land Desertification in Xilinguole League

In this study, we used remote sensing and geographic information system technology, field investigation and on-the-spot record combination as the main research method to analyze the dynamic changes of land desertification in Xilinguole League changes, trying to find the existence of Xilinguole League nearly20 years of meteorological drought law, and providing reference for the Xilinguole League desertification disaster prevention and mitigation. The results show that:(1)The desertification area of Xilinguole League from 1990 to 2010 showed a trend of decrease, and desertification degree showed increasing trend. With most light desertification,and light desertification decreased first and then increased and at last decreased, moderate desertification decreased first and then increased, and severe desertification and very severe desertification increased first and then decreased, but the latter reduces more becoming better.(2)The Xilinguole League desertification degree has obvious regional, and from southwest to northeast desertification degree is from high to low transitional, north-eastern part of deterioration, in the middle of East Ujimqin the waters become very severe desertification. Southwest deterioration serious phenomenon,and in Sonid Left Banner, Erenhot City and Sonid Right Banner the light desertification area was changed into moderate desertification. (3) In Xilinguole League from 1990 to 2010, the desertification area reduced with the speed of 5.37hm2/a, and the desertification degree increased with the speed of 0.23hm2/a. (4)From 1990 to 2010 the desertification developed rapidly, and the desertification in low level to high level made the desertification in Xilinguole League increasing significantly.
