英文摘要 | Expansive soils in semi-arid regions are of great concern to design and geotechnical engineers. Damage to residential buildings resulting from expansive soil movements has been widely reported in Australia. This paper describes the current practice in Australia, Which includes the site classification, laboratory tests and residential footing design. A case study of a residential house damaged by expansive soils is also presented. |
