Climate changes and fluctuations affect the plants and animals of arid Namibia and semi-arid South Africa. Land-use changes, deforestation, invasion of alien plants, and urbanisation can disrupt the spatial distribution pattern of Aloe dichotoma tree species, and therefore changing its geographic range, as they find their original habitats are no longer suitable to their needs. In this paper, we study the precipitation impact on Aloe dichotoma in Namibia and South Africa, and project how they change in geographical range from the present (1960-2000) into the projected future (2050-2070). It is evident that the Aloe dichotoma's geographical range will change and shift due to climate impacts.
