PHREEQC is a geochemical model to study aqueous ion reaction equilibrium in water systems. The paper take the groundwater of Yaoba oasis in China as research object, based on the mass action law, mass conservation law and chemical thermodynamic principles, builds the inverse model and simulation with PHREEQC. The results of the model show that the recharge of the research area comes from the neighbor groundwater system at the north, west and east part. Mixing process is the main factor that controls the hydro-gcochemical condition of the area. At the different parts of the area, there happens the dissolution or precipitation of gypsum, calcite, dolomite and carbon dioxide, as well as the adsorption or desorption of Ca2+ and Na+.
