Application Study of New-type Sand Basin for Micro-irrigation in Water-saying Irrigation

Xinjiang Uigur Automous Region is located in north west of China, where is arid area. At present, the agriculture in Xinjiang province is irrigation agriculture, and Xinjiang Province is popularizing water saving irrigation agriculture. According to the feature of water saving irrigation, the new type sand basin is designed mainly to deal with the suspension dominated sediment in water. This article introduces the study on application of new type sand basin for micro irrigation in water saving irrigation and compares the new type sand basin with the tradition sand basin in longitudinal silt content, longitudinal deposition and so on. The result indicates that the new type sand basin is better, and it can be popularized further.
