英文摘要 | Al Ain city is in the eastern part of Abu Dhabi Emirates of UAE and western edge of the Oman Mountains. Its mean annual precipitation during the past 20 years is less than 100 mm. Paleochannels are an important source of, water in this area, functioning both as recharge and storage zones for aquifers. Determination of channel geometry and fill material is an essential part of resource estimation. Resistivity method is relatively inexpensive and faster than others and can estimate the water quantity and water quality. It has been successfully used for a variety of groundwater problems. |
