The reason of a crisis situation in the Aral sea basin was the increase of the water intake from the Central Asian rivers, which was the most intensive in second half of XX century. In conditions of arid climate of region, the mouth sites and deltas of the rivers are the most vulnerable to both climatic and antropogeneous influences resulting in the reduction of their watering. On the basis of the analysis of the long-term data series of meteorological and hydrological observations stations the estimation of water resources of Amudarja river is given in the zone of flow formation and accompanying changes of watering of delta. The measures of adaptation to reduction of watering of delta are considered.
